Your mail settings are:

Incoming POP3 mail server: mail.[your domain]   (i.e. mail.mediamarmot.com)
Outgoing SMTP mail server*: mail.[your domain]
Username: [your email address]
Username: [your password]

* make sure authentication is selected for outgoing mail.

1. On the home screen click on Settings > Add Account > Other

2. Click on Add Mail Account, enter the following details:
Name: [your name]
User Name: [your email address]
Password: [your password]
Description: [your description]

3. Click Next and enter the following details:
Incoming Mail Sever
Host Name: mail.[your domain]   (i.e. mail.mediamarmot.com)
User Name: [your email address]
Password: [your password]
Outgoing Mail Sever
Host Name: mail.[your domain]
User Name: [your email address]
Password: [your password]

4. Click Next and press continue to both alerts.

5. Choose IMAP for live access to your mail box, messages will not be downloaded and you will need to connect to the network every time you want to check your messages.

Step By Step Outlook / Outlook Express Email Setup Guide
1. In the top menu bar click on Tools > Email Accounts.
2. Double click on your account.
3. Enter your name and Email address.
4. Incoming Mail Server (Pop3) set to mail.[your domain] nbsp; (i.e. mail.mediamarmot.com)
5. Outgoing mail server (SMTP) set to mail.[your domain]
6. Logon Information enter your email address for username and your associated password.
7. Click on More Settings.
8. Check the box 'My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'.
9. Click the radio button 'Log on using' and enter your email address for username and your associated password.
10. Click OK and Next to complete the update.

1) Go to the 'Tools' menu, and click 'Account Settings'.
2) Click 'Add Account' - make sure 'Email account' is selected and press 'Next'.
3) Fill in your name and Email address.
4) Select POP or IMAP, your incoming mailserver is mail.[your domain] nbsp; (i.e. mail.mediamarmot.com)
5) Your incoming User Name is your email address
6) The name of the account is entirely up to you - click next until the account has been created.
7) Now We need to set up SMTP - click on 'Outgoing Server (SMTP)'.
8) The Server Name is mail.[your domain]
9) The username is your email address

This can happen if your mailbox has run out of space, you need to go to your webmail
(http://webmail.[your domain]) or launch webmail from your control panel and delete some messages.

To prevent this from happening you need to choose the "remove mail from server when downloading messages" option (or equivalent) within your mail application (outlook, apple mail etc) and then download your messages from the server.

If you fail to logout of your webmail by clicking on the logout link then sometimes this can cause your webmail account to become locked. If this happens please contact us and request that we unlock your webmail account.

Apple's most recent update has known to cause issues when sending out email, if you are having issues please follow these steps:

1. From your iPhone home screen click on Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. Under accounts click on the mail account you want to send from.
3. Scroll down under you see the heading "Outgoing Mail Server" and click on the white box below that begins "SMTP ".
4. Click on the white box below "Primary Server" which should begin with "mail."
5. On this page make sure the settings match the following:
Server: On
Host Name: mail.[dominname] (So if your domain was test.com it would be "mail.test.com")
Username: Your email address
Password: Your mailbox password
Use SSL: On
Authentication: Password
Server Port: 587
5. Click on Done or Save and it should now verify your settings and you will be able to send emails from your iPhone.

We recommend using Filezilla which can be downloaded via http://filezilla-project.org/. Once downloaded and installed enter your FTP address, username and password and then uploaded your files into the 'public_html' directory to make them appear on your domain.

This can happen if your FTP account is locked, you can unlock your FTP account by launching your hosting control panel (Click on My Account and under your domain click 'edit domain' and then 'Launch Control Panel'. Next unlock FTP via your IP address duration - this can be found on the right hand side of the control panel.

If have registered a domain and it's not hosted with Media Marmot you can click on My Account and under your domain click 'Edit Domain', from here you can update your nameservers. If your domain is hosted with us please contact us and include your domain in your message.

If you would like to transfer a domain that's currently registered with Media Marmot please contact us and include the domain you wish to transfer and the reason you want to transfer, you never know we may be able to help!

Within your Media Marmot My Account page under your domain click on 'Edit Domain', you should be able to launch your DNS control panel from there. If it doesn't appear please contact us and we'll set it up for you.

This is usually caused by one of the scripts (.net, PHP etc) failing to execute on your web site bringing back an error. You can retrieve detailed information about your error from your hosting control panel (accessible via My Account) by clicking on the 'Log File Download' icon.

Occasionally web files can corrupt, if this occurs please contact us including your website URL in the message and we will investigate.
